All Fairies have Tails - Season 1

An off-the-wall, hilarious and whimsical series that parodies the Brother Grimm fairy tales we all know and love.

Season I | Fairy Tales | 8 x 45’

It’s the ideal playground for a cast of top-notch comedians, where the classic story of Rapunzel is turned into a comical detective story involving a prince who sets off with his trusted squire to solve the mysterious disappearance of a young girl from the fairytale kingdom.

The story of Rumpelstiltskin is told from the perspective of three hapless guards charged with the normally tame job of guarding the edge of the forest. But when a funky little gnome intrudes into the royal chambers and threatens to abduct the queen’s child, their lazy calm is rudely shattered.

The pursuit of the mini--suspect takes them deep into the forest, where they discover that the nameless gnome seems to be a very big fish in the illegal gold spinning syndicate… all in all, not exactly the best time to be followed by a camera crew from the Fairytale News Network.

Little Red Riding Hood, meanwhile, is fast approaching the age of 30 when she encounters the shady music producer Sebastian J. Wolf on one of her many trips to her grandmother’s house.

The devious Mr. Wolf promises Ms. Hood a fast-track career in the music business, but at the big Fairytale Idol competition, Wolf’s sinister plans come to light in a breathtaking showdown. Maybe that one hunter who always secretly fancied Little Red Riding Hood can come to her aid.

Eight well-known fairy tales undergo a rollicking transformation into irreverent, playful and light-hearted satires in this thoroughly enjoyable series.
