Eye for an Eye

An exciting and hard-hitting boxing film

Action | Movie, 1 x 90'

He is paying for a crime he never committed…

Police officer Max falls prey to a diabolical plot hatched by his former colleague Ernst and is sentenced to eleven months in prison.

Once behind bars, the short fuse on Max’s hot temper quickly gets him into trouble. Support from the outside dwindles when even his girlfriend Paula starts to have second thoughts about his innocence. To make matters worse, the news is spreading around the prison that the new inmate is an ex-cop that was directly involved with the arrest of the prison’s top gang leader – who desperately wants revenge.

Even the prison’s warden sees him as a thorn in the side and is unwilling to give him protection.

Completely alone and isolated, Max, with nobody but himself to count on, is forced to fight to stay alive. Then, surprisingly, he receives unexpected support from Garnier, the prison director.

She suggests that he should enter the anti-aggression program and also organize a boxing club for inmates. At first Max refuses, but when Garnier offers him the chance to leave the prison for a week to try and clear his name, he accepts the conditions.

An added bonus presents itself when he discovers that the trainer of the opposing team is none other than his devious ex-colleague Ernst. Now he’s suddenly all for it…

In his short time away of the prison, Max is able to convince his girlfriend of his innocence and he’s also able to initiate a new investigation. Once back behind bars, the fight against Ernst remains…as well as the question…will he be able to convince the authorities of his innocence?

This hard-core prison thriller has the technical support of the famous boxing trainer Uwe Uhlman, who has been training such world-class athletes as the Klitschko brothers, Axel Schulz and Henry Maske.
