Agathe: Murder on the Golf Course

Detective | Movie, 1 x 90'

During a scenic flight, Agathe is stunned to see a murder taking place on the ground – right before her eyes! She immediately informs the pilot but he can’t spot anything. Still, he radios ahead for the police to check the area…

Investigator Krefeld and his team are also unable to find any trace of a crime. He’s sure that Agathe’s vivid imagination is finally getting the best of her. Of course Agathe cannot let the matter rest.

Together with Stingermann she sneaks to the exact location where she saw the murder taking place. There are signs including skid marks that she finds immediately suspect. In the direct vicinity lies a golf course, where the two meet Klaus Graser and Peter Pfeiffer. Determined to find the body, Agathe takes a job in the golf restaurant that offers her the perfect opportunity to look around.

Soon Agathe realizes where a body might possibly be hidden – in one of the huge rain barrels. Later that night, she and Stingermann break into the golf course to examine the barrels, only to surprise a man who hastily flees into the night. Agathe is unable to see his face. Then her suspicions are confirmed when they open one of the barrels and discover a body…

The dead woman is the attractive high school teacher Jana Oettinger. But why was she killed?

Agathe sends Stingermann, in the guise of an inspector, to the school where she had worked. Meanwhile, Agathe tries to pick up clues at the golf course. Stingermann learns that the friendly high school graduate Julian Pfeiffer had been on the verge of being expelled.

He had manipulated the school’s data bank and was discovered by Jana Oettinger. Julian’s father was able to prevent his son’s expulsion and he went on to graduate.

Another possible suspect catches the sharp eye of Investigator Krefeld - the ambitious school principal Wollzogen, who had a clear motive. He was blackmailed by Mrs. Oettinger and he is unable to produce a convincing alibi.

Then, when Wollzogen is suddenly murdered, Krefeld’s suspicions turns back to Julian. The investigator believes that Julian wanted to murder his former teacher because she had an affair with his father.

Agathe discovers that Klaus Graser was working for the Board of Education.

Agathe sets a trap: She invites all the suspects to the restaurant and claims that she has a letter that unmasks the murderer…
