Experienced hotel manager Markus Winter and his gorgeous daughter Leonie are on their way to a fantastic hotel on Bali. Leonie’s birthday is coming up, but that’s not the main reason for the trip: Markus’ aunt has asked him to check out the luxury destination and buy it for her hotel chain. 
Touring the site, he meets Maria, the attractive chef of the hotel’s restaurant, and it’s love at first sight…for them both.
On the business end everything goes smoothly for Markus as well, at least at first. Hotel owner Franziska is apparently willing to make the deal, but for some reason the final transaction simply never happens. 
What Markus doesn’t know is that Maria is not only the hotel’s gourmet chef, but also Franziska’s sister and co-owner of the property, and she is completetly unaware of her sister’s plans to sell the hotel…
Meanwhile, young Leonie’s heart beats only for her pop idol Alexander, who is on Bali recording songs for his new album. As she attempts to meet the star, Leonie gets to know the friendly Jan, who supposedly is Alexander’s manager.
To her disappointment, a meeting he arranges with the singer falls through, but her birthday party has a huge surprise in store…
