When a strange old man hands him a rusty key to an old gas station, Felix senses that this is his key to a bright new future. And he is right. Now his life revolves around an old abandoned gas station out in the country that he wants to turn into a prospering business.
The only problem is the stubborn Weda, who owns another gas station right across the street. Having recently taken over the business from her dying father, to whom she swore to keep the business afloat, Weda is serious competition.
The race is on, with Weda and Felix fighting fiercely for every single customer. Soon though, their initial hostilities and mutual distrust melt away…even to the point where Weda feels almost ready to open her heart to a new love.
But after chancing upon Felix in bed with his ex-girlfriend, the old hatred surges back and once again it’s war. Felix aggressively fights back, and this time he succeeds to the point where Weda is now in danger of finally losing her business.
But then Felix retreats from his cutthroat attack. What has he done? Feeling terrible, he reverses course and uses his own money to guarantee that Weda can keep the gas station. But is it too late? Weda is already on her way to the city to leave behind the pain of her failed promise to her dad…
