Bulls Eye - a grandpa hits Jenny, a young lady, directly on the head with a football. She’s knocked unconscious, and when she recovers she’s still at the same picturesque lakefront in East Germany. It’s the same place… but not the same time:
It is now June 21, 1974, 4:32 p.m.
It is the summer of the soccer world championship – the long awaited match between East and West Germany is about to begin.
Of this Jenny is quite sure, because it was at this soccer duel that she was conceived. During the ninety-minute game, Jenny’s mother, the young student Alexandra from West Germany, had sex with DJ Frank from East Germany.
Back in West Germany, Alexandra discovers her pregnancy and nine months later Jenny is born. Jenny grew up with her mother, who was suffering in an unhappy marriage, and she never had a chance to meet her real father.
Research uncovers the fact that Frank was killed when he attempted to escape from East Germany into the freedom of the West in 1974…
Now, having arrived back in the year 1974, Jenny finally has the chance to find out what really happened to her father. Not only that, she can possibly even save a fateful love story from its approaching tragic end… provided that she can avoid causing even more trouble in the past! Jenny experiences two turbulent June days in the lives of her future parents – in both East and West Germany.
With (or maybe even in spite of!) Jenny’s help, Frank manages to meet Alexandra. But shortly after their passionate rendezvous in a soccer stadium closet, the DJ is caught by the Stasi. Jenny, mustering her courage, is now prepared to risk everything to save her future.
In order to rescue her dad and to give her parents’ love a chance, as well as to give herself the possibility of growing up with a real father, she marches directly into the lion’s den… the central command center for the Ministry of State Security…
