Pit Opitz, the Sales Manager of the long-established chocolate producers Meinekken Enterprises, is determined to be the next director of the company. After selling off the firm to a large investment company, his boss decides to retire, which leaves Pit next in line to head up the chocolate empire.
He’s then completely shocked to hear his boss, during his farewell speech, naming not he but another as Meinekken’s future director – Katharina Kessler. Pit is furious and deeply disappointed, which translates into a difficult working relationship with his new and young boss. 
Katharina plans to inject fresh energy into the company with the development of a new business strategy and the introduction of new products – which Pit opposes.
It’s not only her ideas that he has a problem with: She’s younger than he and inexperienced… but more importantly, she’s a woman.
That she’s extremely attractive still does nothing to deter Pit from his hard-core opposition. He’s even going as far as to recruit male colleagues in an attempt to bully Katharina out of the company.
As well as everything else, Pit and his friends are doing everything possible to make her look bad in front of her superiors, but Katharina stubbornly keeps on fighting.
Then the situation takes an unexpected turn when the sworn enemies Pit and Katharina suddenly find themselves attracted to each other. Still, their newfound affection seems to be no match for Katharina’s anger when she discovers just how much Pit’s campaign of harassment has damaged her blossoming career. Now it’s her turn…
