The famous pianist Birgit has a seemingly harmonious marriage with her husband Frederik. Thanks to their comfortable financial state, they have had enough money for Frederik to build up a car dealership.
One day Birgit suspects that her husband is having an affair – an accusation Frederik strongly denies… In the meantime, the relationship between Ilona and Juergen has gone downhill, with the waitress constantly trying to escape from her partner’s violent outbursts.
For some time already, she has succeeded in fleeing from Juergen – directly into Frederik’s arms.
After a while, Birgit’s doubts are undeniably confirmed: Frederik has rented an apartment as a love nest where he and Ilona regularly meet.
