It seems that what women really want out of life is as wildly diverse as the women themselves… as we quickly see from our group of four protagonists. One thing is certain - they are all women through and through, which of course means that what they say isn’t necessarily what they mean.






Although their attempts to find sex and love at times seem desperate, their comic humor and romantic desires keep them always revved up for the next passionate adventure.









Minza, Valerie, Edda and Frenzy take center stage in “Sex & More”. As a single mom, Minza is barely able to keep her chaotic life from spinning out of control. Her situation takes a dramatic turn for the worst when her ex-husband demands the sole custody of their daughter Sophie.






Making Minza’s life more miserable yet is the fact that her old flame Lennard turns up as the opposing team’s lawyer.It’s a good thing she’s got her three best friends to depend on for support.

There’s the sometimes naive, always romantic Valerie, who being safely married finds it easy to offer emotional advice.




But Valerie and her husband Frieder both realize that their marriage has come to a dead end. Frieder desperately wants a child but Valerie has no great desire to be a mom.

When Frieder receives a job offer to work overseas, they both decide to give their marriage a second chance - and to use this opportunity to make a new start.




Then there’s Edda, who loves all men – as long as they keep their distance… But when the hospital where she works is forced to lay off employees, Edda desperately fights to keep her job.

Then, strangely enough, she befriends her main competitor and develops such a close relationship with her that Edda is introduced to her circle of friends.




And of course Frenzy, who always seems to be in a constant state of trying to figure out who she is and what she feels. When she gets lost in the dizzying world of the rich & famous and finds herself tempted by wonderful promises, her daily life slips into chaos – without her even realizing it. Good thing she’s got such caring girlfriends around!








When they notice how serious the situation is becoming, they jump right in to bring their dear friend back to reality.

Although their fantasies of life and love are as different as they themselves are, together they’re able to navigate the many twists and turns of their individual lives – and also manage to have a blast along the way
