Second season from 'Dr. Psycho': Police psychologist Max Munzl stands out as the black sheep in the Special Task Force. Although he does make an effort to fit in, his unusual methods often lead to disaster…
The atmosphere within the team is tense, as the task force is threatened to get dissolved. And Max` colleagues can't accept why on earth Max, the psycho clown, shall stay.
Furthermore each of them has a hard time juggling work with their private life, which causes increasingly more on-the-job conflicts.
Kerstin, the only female on the team, is not only having a hard time dealing with her and her boyfriend’s recent separation, she as well feels that her colleagues don’t seem to acknowledge her as a woman.
The hot-tempered Victor has a full-scale membership in Alcoholics Anonymous and the oversensitive Eddie is quick to react when he believes the other STF members aren’t taking him seriously.
Max has his own problems as well. He is under continual pressure from his widowed father, who wants to move in with him.
As far as his love life goes, Max does have a new girlfriend, but he’s forced to deal with her extremely jealous ex-boyfriend. And on top of that, his lovesick ex-wife Lena needs a shoulder to cry on.
With all of these personal issues threatening to affect his team’s ability to function, the quick-witted Special Task Force leader Hendrick has no other choice than to call in Max for help.
Unfortunately, Max’s intervention only worsens the situation…
To prove his abilities as a cop, he’s willing to take huge risks, sometimes undertaking investigations completely on his own – which more often than not, place him in extremely dangerous circumstances…
