MPU-Missing Persons Unit

The MPU is a team of highly trained professionals who have dedicated their lives to tracking down and rescuing missing people.

Completely opposed in character, the team’s members are the last hope of the victims’ desperate families.






Walter, the leader of the MPU, is dead-set on finding these missing people and bringing them back to their families.

After an unsuccessful case 10 years ago, when he was not able to save the life of a child abducted by a pedophile, Walter is resolved to never let that happen again.




However, the old case is still plaguing his mind.

Meanwhile, Walter’s right hand Tine is tying to balance her life between her two kids and her stressful and demanding job.







Colleague Nick, on the other hand, is so invested in his work that he is ready to go outside the law in order to rescue a victim.

His attitude, however, often brings him in trouble with the authorities.







Then there is Steve, the unit’s computer specialist and resident joker, who often resorts to humor in the most unsuitable of situations.

The team is joined by rookie Mily, who is having trouble coping with the harsh reality on the field - something she has never experienced while working at the crime lab.




The unit’s sole goal is to get to the missing people before the inevitable happens…

When a 16-year-old girl disappears and the police think she has run away, only the MPU suspects something is wrong, eventually saving the girl from forced prostitution.

Illegally obtaining evidence in the case of a kidnapped girl, although saving the victim’s life, causes severe problems for the unit.

With Internal Affairs investigating them, Nick’s suspension and Tine’s falling in love with a colleague from the Organized Crime Unit, the work of the Missing Persons Unit becomes even more challenging!
