“Mind Games” is a groundbreaking, smart and exciting TV game that combines the thrill of a big money contest with the key elements of reality TV: real-time, real-life decisions and real insights into the human mind.
Based on the principles of Game Theory, “Mind Games” pits 4 men against 4 women and is structured around an inherent dilemma as the teams contend for the jackpot. Although the goal is to earn as much money as possible as a team, players are also always looking out for their own personal interests - because only the ONE who survives the game will walk away with the big cash prize.
Each week, the teams engage in a series of four games that challenge the depth of their knowledge, their strategic thinking and their instinctive street smarts:
NERVES OF STEEL - In this one-on-one trivia challenge, contestants must keep their best 'poker face' while trying to guess their opponents' next move.
CHAMBERS – It’s team against team, but at any point, contestants can decide to fly solo and effectively steal the money from the team’s coffers.
TEMPTATION – In an out-of-the studio reality-type mission, the teams are put to the ultimate test: How strong will the group’s solidarity be when faced with materialistic temptations?
PAYBACK – Scores are settled and the personal battles kick in, when the losing team must eliminate the contender with the least winnings. The next week a lucky home player joins the game.
Each week, a home viewer plays live against the studio, and everyone can play “Mind Games” via interactive digital media.
In “Mind Games” viewers will tune in to witness a true battle of the brains, experience the emotional upheavals, see alliances forged and betrayals played out, and be there as a single winner is crowned - the results are explosive television entertainment!
