Is there really a Mister Perfect?
Entertainment Show | Format
A male-free studio audience of 400 women join up with a jury of three celebrity females to search for the one and only man who deserves the title “Mister Perfect”.
In each one-hour show, six male contestants have to prove in front of the jury and the studio audience that they are indeed God’s gift to women. The men are not arrogant 25 year-old supermodels, but real, regular characters.
There might be a family man with five kids standing right alongside the nerdy student. It is all about having the right mix: humor, spontaneity, sharp wits and a clever mind. The men are first introduced by a short clip and then have to face four challenges: “The Guys Test”, “The Clever Test”, “The Everyday Test” and the “Mister Perfect Test”.
In “The Guys Test” they have to show that they have “the right stuff” when it comes to things like singing in the shower or answering questions while clinging to a fire fighter’s pole.
Afterwards, the audience and the jury decide with the push of a button which two candidates will be eliminated. For these two an ice-cold shower in the “Aquator” awaits!
The remaining four candidates now deal with “The Clever Test”: Do they smartly choose the right dance partner? Do they make a clever decision when styling their woman of dreams? One of the guys is now in for the big chill - an ice-cold shower…
In “The Everyday Test”, the contestants have been taped with a hidden camera earlier in the day performing everyday tasks: how well do they do checking into a hotel, or dealing with a pushy dance instructor? Do they keep calm and cool? For one, it is time to go home.
The two finalists now have to pass “The Mister Perfect Test”: “A man is a man when…”, “Two grapefruits remind you of…” or “My most charming weakness is…” - in turns, they finish the sentences thrown at them by the three jury members.
There is only one Mister Perfect per show – and he has to be found! But to win the favor of the picky female audience, he has to be more than good – he has to be perfect!
