Ever taken your car to the mechanic to realize it was you, and not the car, that got taken for a ride?
Ever seen the TV repairman come, fiddle around a bit, issue a fat bill and leave, without you really knowing what he did?
Ever have a total plumbing disaster and not know who to call?
“On the Level” takes you on a witty and entertaining consumer journey combining candid camera with consumer info; blending sitcom elements and a reality treatment for unstoppable entertainment and laughter.
By presenting real-life repair situations, the show puts service professionals to the test and focuses on the service providers who are professional and honest.
The undercover scene is set in a real family’s living room accompanied by a trusted journalist host. Each week they call various home services professionals to conduct simple repair jobs that each and every one of us often needs and needs to know more about.
So… this show actually gives the most useful tips and smart-info bites that can be put to use next time we face a similar snafu and need to have it repaired.
Caught on film, we watch some of the dishonest technicians fail to repair the problem and use their cheapest tricks to cheat the unwitting consumer.
However, unlike other shows, “On the Level” aims to spotlight and praise the service provider who proves to be professional, honest and offer consumers real value for their money. The honest professional will be surprised on the air and, in addition to wining an award, will achieve instant 'celebrity' status in his/her field.
“On the Level” proves that being honest really pays…for viewers…for service providers…and for broadcasters.
