The daily real life show 'We are Family' tells authentic family stories, one per episode. “We are Family” includes a wide range of topics and family constellations and deals with critical themes like unemployment, debt, education, marriage, divorce, sickness, loss of family members, school and puberty.
'We Are Family' never stages scenes: the dialogue is authentic, not scripted. Another essential aspect of 'We Are Family' is that each of the families presented is lacking some important element. It could be the lack of a good job, an absent parent, insufficient education, needing a home… or even something more personal, involving love, understanding or loyalty.
The central question is whether a family is breaking up because of the problem or not. What created this situation and what can we do to help?
Whatever issues are confronting the family, we accompany and assist them as they attempt to resolve them during the course of the episode.
'We are Family' is a format with a happy ending. By the end of each 45minute show, the protagonists have succeeded in overcoming the obstacles they have been facing.
