The Wedding Planner

Real Life Show | Format

The Wedding Planner, a truly enthusiastic fan of weddings who turned his passion into a profession, fulfils everyone’s greatest wish for the perfect dream wedding. Even though he’s been organizing weddings for years, the delightful enthusiasm that he brings to his work makes each new job seem like a great adventure.

His main goal is to minimize the planning stress, whether the wedding is an exotic and extravagant fairytale celebration fit for royalty or a simple ceremony by the shore.

He supports the couples in every way, right up to the point when they walk down the aisle.

In the daily show, the viewers meet two couples and watch short video clips that show how they live, what they do, how they got to know each other and what they expect from a perfect wedding.

The bridal couple, who foot the entire bill themselves, tells the wedding planner how much money they are willing to spend. Regardless of the budget though, with his energetic, impulsive, humorous but nevertheless romantic ideas, the wedding planner will conjure up an unforgettable, truly individual wedding for the couple.

It could be a traditional ceremony, a wedding in the stadium for soccer fanatics or even a gothic style celebration…for the Wedding Planner anything and everything is possible.

The audience is side by side with the couples on their way to the altar – from arranging the formalities to the search for the perfect location and the decorative layout of the buffet – even to the newlyweds’ send-off on their honeymoon. The process is filled with important once-in-a-lifetime decisions. Maybe the ruby coloured suit is better than the black one, perhaps the long veil is too much, and it could be that the hairdresser needs to “brush up” on his skills. With his professional knowledge and experience, the Wedding Planner knows exactly what’s required for every situation. He’ll accompany the couple as they register for their marriage certificate and stand by them at the church wedding, his passion for his work evidenced by the tears in his eyes…

However, even with all of his insider know-how and experience, organizing the big wedding day can still be tricky. Sometimes you just can’t help some of the silly things that happen, like stepping on the bride’s long flowing wedding gown or dropping a glass of red wine...

The audience also finds out personal, behind-the scenes tidbits that could turn the wedding into chaos, like the fact that the bride and the mother-in-law can’t stand each other, or that the couple’s dancing skills are a nightmare, the perfect gown can’t be found or the wine for dessert is way over budget… but maybe the wedding planner can help! At the end of each episode, one couple will tie the knot while the other will take their vows in the next show.

Here comes the bride – a truly unique, wonderful and unforgettable experience for everyone!
