FC Barcelona, Manchester United, AC Milan or FC Bayern München: it is you against the pros!











“Kick the Pros“ pits a team of casted celebrities and regular fans against the nation’s most successful, most loved and most hated club. Over 6 episodes, this show follows the formation of the team right up to their big match against the professionals.







The captain – a famous comedian and 1 of 3 jury members – together with a professional playmaker and 2 professional goalies, joins the team in the end.









Celebrities and regular candidates compete in separate groups so that an even number of players from each category advances to the final.

At the beginning of the first episode, 32 candidates – selected from hundreds of applicants – fight for the unique chance of making their dream come true.





A merciless jury consisting of 1 renowned coach, a former professional club manager and the celebrity captain of the team decides who plays.

However, the comedian has the final say: he chooses 1 lucky loser each episode, making a total of 5 players that advance every week.





The final cut is made in the 5th episode, when only the 12 best players remain. The 6th show focuses on the preparations for the big game. Until the day of the match, all participants reside at a sports college they can only leave for special training sessions.







They must endure the same strict regime undertaken by the professionals, including cross-country runs at 5 o’clock in the morning!










Finally, it is time for the final showdown – a nerve-wrecking live match in front of a packed stadium, presented by popular hosts and well-known sports commentators. All proceeds from the event are donated to charity.
